Trip To Pennsylvania
Hi Everybody! I finally found time to tell you about my trip to Pennsylvania with the Weathers, so here goes:Saturday: I got up at 6:00, packed, did chores, went to a wedding, and helped put stuff in the Weathers car. The we drove for about 3 hours and went to Cracker Barrel. We wandered around the store for about 45 minutes waiting for our table, and then ate. I had fried shrimp! Then we drove for another 3 hours, got to the house, unpacked, and went to bed.
Sunday: We got up, went to church, and walked back to the house because we thought we were going to eat there. Then when we got there we decided that we probably weren't and so we walked back to the church. Then after we ate we walked back to the house. Luke had Caleb Currens over and I showed everybody how to play Clue, Luke won.Then we went back to church, came home, and went to bed.
Monday: We got up, did school, and talked about whether or not to go to the seminary with Mr.W. Lyndsi wanted to but nobody else really did, so we didn't. Then we went shopping with Mrs.W to Walmart, and while she went to Aldi, we went to Blockbuster. We got, The Wedding Planner, The Italian Job, And The Terminal. Then we sat around Blockbuster for half an hour waiting for Mrs.W to get finished shopping. Then we went home, watched The Wedding Planner,(great movie) and went to bed.
Tuesday: We got up, did school, and went to this little Gym'n'Swim thing at the YMCA, where you swim a few laps with a kick board and then have free swim. After that, we got out of the pool and went to the gym where we stretched, ran , walked, and played games. Then we went to Mcdonalds and then home to do more school. Then we went to the Currens for dinner. They have 4 boys, Ethan 16, Shane 14, Caleb 11, and Noland 3. Before dinner Lyndsi rode one of their horses and almost fell off on the English saddle, but when they changed it to a Western saddle she did fine. Then we had really good lasagna and pie for dinner. After dinner Lyndsi, Lacey, Loran, and I danced with Noland (the 3 year old), and he said he wanted to marry Loran, but he kept putting Lacey and me in jail.He called us all toots, honey, and stuff like that, so we all said that he'll probably grow up to be a big flirt. Then we all went outside and played hide-and-seek in the dark, which was REALLY fun. Then we went home and went to bed.
Wednesday:We got up, packed, did school, and loaded stuff into the car. Then we went over to Mr.Nighs house to see his horses and kittens. We found 2 really cute kittens and took them to the house to show Mrs.W because Mr.Nigh wanted to get rid off them. Mrs.W said they couldn't keep it though. Then we all got in the car and drove to the semiary to pick up Mr.W. When we got there we all got out and looked around, it's a pretty cool place. After that we all got back in the car and drove, and drove, and drove for about 5 hours. When we finally got to my house there was nobody there. So we went to the Weathers house and my parents picked me up,and I went to bed in MY wonderful bed!!
